The Whitney Bistro opened in January, 2007 and is named
after The Whitney Hotel in Minneapolis. When they remodeled, we were able to
purchase all of
the original woodwork from the historic hotel for our interior. We were thrilled
to be able to reuse this resource and to have a piece of Minneapolis’ history
for our guests to enjoy.

Meet Our Staff:
Adam Levitt
Whitney Bistro Executive Chef / General
Manager
Adam’s philosophy on cooking is “to bring out the natural flavors
of the food” using simple ingredients and creative cooking techniques.
He has spent years perfecting his talents in some of the best restaurants across
the country including New York, Seattle and Colorado before coming back to
his home town Minneapolis.
Adam has his B.A. with a double major in Culinary Arts and Service Management
from Paul Smith College in New York.
He strives to impact people's lives in a simple but positive way, making sure
their experience is outstanding by having great food and excellent service.

Jen Obbarius
Wedding and Event Planner Extraordinaire!
A graduate of the University of St. Thomas with her BA in Communications,
Jen has since worked in the restaurant industry for the last 13 years
and “loves
the high energy, fast pace, ability to constantly interact with and meet
new people”.
Jen’s passion truly lies with making our clients’ most important
celebrations, the most successful and well-executed events they can possibly
be. She believes flexibility and personalization are two things that make the
Whitney Bistro the perfect place to hold any event.
